Google Real Estate Index

Google tracks the number of Real Estate searches on a weekly basis and publishes the information in a graphical format as shown above. While it may seem that the index drops almost to zero at the end of each year, that’s actually about 50% of the highs, but not zero. Of course, this means there are still millions (billions?) of searches happening in December of each year.

The above graph shows the weekly average beginning in early January of 2005.
